Home Building Tips: Interior Design
Your interior designer is the key to turning your house into a home that is uniquely yours, reflecting your personality as well as the combination of personalities in your household. Textures, fabrics, accessories and the ability to combine your existing "treasures" with new pieces and accents will mean all the difference in fashioning a home you and your family adore.
The most important aspect of your interior design is that it is a true reflection of you, your family and your lifestyle...highlighting your personal tastes, interests and the things that give you the greatest enjoyment. These finishing touches will make coming home a much anticipated and valued part of everyday living.

Pippin's Projects: Weekend Getaway to Modern Lake Cottage
Prepared to turn their Lake Norman getaway into their full time residence, the McAuliffe family called on the expertise of Jennifer Pippin and her team to orchestrate the transformation from no frills to fabulous.
Simple changes provided dramatic results as this basic ranch style home became a modern craftsman style cottage. Adding a gable to the roof created interest and curb appeal while the new siding and clean colors created an inviting look from both the streetside and lakeside.

From Jenny's Design Board
Like so many of our clients, Mike & Stacey Jenks had reasonable requests for their new home design but had not found what they wanted in the plan books to fit the unusual shape of their building envelope. After seeing another home we designed in Cornelius, they visited our website and arranged to meet with Jennifer to discuss their plans.
One of their main objectives was to create a home without a lot of wasted space that was open and comfortable for entertaining without an overly formal look. "Efficient" and "functional" were the operative words in their initial meeting with Jennifer, and have remained important as their design has developed. Esthetically, the Jenks really liked an exterior with character and angles and seemed to gravtitate towards the Nantucket and Charleston-style homes.
While their design continues to evolve, the Jenks have seen their vision become reality. With great views from the front and back of the property, this custom design promises to accentuate the surroundings while complementing their lifestyle.

Cornelius- Here We Come!
It's been a long time coming, but our official moving date is currently set for April 29th. Our team plans to work over the weekend to set up our new office and be ready to work on Monday morning.
In addition to providing us with the extra room that our growing firm needed, the new location will prove more convenient to our Charlotte based clients and hopefully more centrally located to everyone. A separate office for the Production Department promises to increase productivity, while a private conference room should make our client meetings more productive.
Stay tuned for news on our upcoming Open House or click here to see the transformation of the office. »
