When this race family began growing, they needed their home to grow with them. Transforming from simple to sensational, the total square footage of this 1990's ranch style lake home was doubled by adding a guest suite on one wing, and a recreation room retreat on the opposing wing, giving a U- shape to the lakeside of the home, allowing the family to enjoy new found privacy at the summer kitchen and pool area.

The simplicity of a 1990's style brick ranch was recreated without the appearance of an "add-on". Careful attention to details in the existing construction gives the illusion that the home has always been this way and allows it to assimilate with other homes in the neighborhood.

Dramatic changes were made to the lake side of the home by adding opposing wings to the home, creating a U-shape to form privacy around the outdoor entertaining areas with new in-ground pool, summer kitchen and hot tub areas. The existing wood deck was replaced by a covered porch, making the area more functional and adding an beautifully focal point from the water.

Creating a quiet refuge from the race family's busy lifestyle, this wing of the home was added as a "adult's playroom". In addition to generous space for displaying trophies and other NASCAR memorabilia over the bar area, a large screen TV and dramatic lake views make this room perfect for playing and relaxing.

Guests feel less like visitors and more like vacationers when they visit the Reiser's newly added guest suite. Vaulted ceilings give the room an open, airy feel and the tranquil lake views welcome and relax guests. The private bath is accessible from the bedroom as well as from the outdoor summer kitchen area so that it doubles as a pool changing room.
